promise?

by the time i got my 'Pride And Prejudice And Zombies',
i promised to myself,
I,
will not buy anymore novels,
till i finished all the 4 unread books in my rack.

however,
someway, somehow,
a promise can easily be forgotten...

'Johnny Be Good' by Paige Toon,
priced RM19.90...
Wow!!!
so cheap!!!
and interesting too!!!
the 'style' is more or less like Sophie Kinsella's,
humorous and caught my breath at the first line in prologue.
luckily i didn't judge a 'book' by its appearance,
or else i'd have missed it...

but now thinking back...
i should have judged that book by its appearance,
right??
so that i wouldn't...
break my promise.
