late birthday post

ahh it's 29th today....
a week had passed since my birthday,
but still,
words of appreciation are still there,
to be poured out to all my sincere friends...

thanks to my sisters,
ze ying, yen jee, crystal,
for such a lovely booklet full of wishes,
and an unique photo frame with such a meaningful and touching poem,
and my...'photo' which might have spoilt the present. (sorry! >_<)

thanks for the novel!
the way you wrapped the gift was what i appreciated the most...
so beautiful that i didn't even want to touch the ribbon,
as once i touch it,
i won't be able to pull it back again...

and most of all,
special thanks to all my st.john friends.
this was the most meaningful birthday i'd ever had,
just because of the surprises that you all had given me.
even though the cake was smashed,
the sincerity, the wishes,
were all around the atmosphere.

and thanks to prefects board,
for the lovely birthday song,
in the morning dew and in the cold breeze,
your voices sent dozes of warmth into my heart...

though you've forgotten my birthday and only gave me on the next day,
but i'll never mind;

for coming to my house purposely just to send me your wishes and angpaus;

though you're far away,
your wishes and message were never late;
thanks bro Kelvin,
for the novel you ordered for me,
though the novels weren't gotten into my hands yet.
