oh, it's him! :-)

It was as if a fated incident,

That he appeared at the same region with me.

Just a distance away,

And yet it seemed so true.

A crush of mine,

During my primary school time.

A look at him,

And the memories kept flowing in.

He did not change much –

The same hazel eyes,

The same prominent nose,

etc.

Just grew taller and possessed a more matured look.

A valuable gift of teenage growth.

I flashed a smile at him,

And he put on that big smile,

Like ever.

Still the same friendly and enthusiast smile.

Oh, thanked God he still recognized me.

The feast time had come.

He walked up to me and said Hi,

I returned his greeting courteously.

Then I walked away.

Urghh, what was in my mind???

Then coincidentally,

We were on the same path again.

This time he asked,

“Was it you who had grown shorter or it was me who had grown taller?”

Ahh, still the same humour as ever.

I laughed at his so-called ‘joke’,

And replied one sentence:

“OH, I didn’t change at all.”

Then we headed to the opposite direction again.

Aikssss!!! What had happened to me???

The moment I realized my weirdness and madness,

The moment I recovered from my shyness and awkwardness...

He already packed his things and was readied to leave.

Aww, no chance to have a proper conversation with him anymore.

I banged my stupid head and those childhood memories became more visible in my nosy mind.

Happy hours during the Malacca’s trip,

First time of using pen in writing letters with each other,

Memorable rehearsal of dancing moments...

Oh, how I missed those time!

And I just let go of this one and only chance,

Forever so easily.

STUPID.

Somehow,
The thoughts of those youthful messages,
And the memories of those innocent accents,
Have sent shots of motivation,
For me to take life enthusiastically.

And somewhere in my conscience, 

I have faith,

That we’ll be able to meet up again,

In a recent time.

Because I believe,

A degree of hope can bring a birth of miracle.

So I shall be prepared,

To meet again,

This old pal of mine. =)
